We'll have a more detailed treatment of one of the all-time worst days in Eagles history Monday, but we wanted to throw in a few quick reactions to the 36-7 loss in Baltimore earlier today.
Andy Reid deserves to lose his job. Trying to put the responsibility for your own coaching ineptitude on the quarterback is despicable, but not telling him to his face that a change is going to be made is worse. If both quarterbacks stink up the joint, what does that tell you? It's like blaming the floor traders on Wall Street for the unethical behavior of Lehman Brothers.
Donovan McNabb deserved better. How would you feel if you were told by someone other than your boss that you were being replaced? Reid told McNabb that it wasn't important enough for him to take a minute (a minute!) to tell him to his face. This is the quarterback Reid drafted and in turn, took Reid to four NFC title games and a Super Bowl.
Brian Westbrook isn't anything close to healthy. Poor 36West is trying to suck it up and play, but it's obvious he is in no condition to be a contributor to the offense.
Until we post again tomorrow, here's a little happy reminder that all is indeed not lost...

You are way to hooked on that quarterback. Donovan shouldn't of needed to be told that he wasnt starting the 2nd half. He should have done his team and fans a favor and taken himself out of the game. Glad you guys won the world series because it will be a cold day in hell before the Eagles get back to the promiseland. Put a fork in them because they are FINISHED!!....Future prediction, I see Donovan being signed by the raiders. Him and Al should get along great, sign high priced players to perform at a highschool level.
Hmmm...looks as though we've been infiltrated by either a Giants or Cowboys fan.
Which explains just about everything.
